If you’re a fan of Wye Oak, brace yourself for this transformation. Front woman Jenn Wasner loses her guitar (for most of the album) on the new release, Shriek, in favor of synthesizer and sound effects. Personally, I miss the guitar but the new sound is still pretty interesting.
