Tristen’s debut, Charlatans at the Garden Gate, was one of my favorite albums of 2011, an alt-country gem. With the help of Kickstarter, Tristen Gaspadarek followed that album last year with Caves, a sharp turn toward synth-pop. On Wednesday, Tristen opens for Roadkill Ghost Choir at a Kickstarter-sponsored show at Subterranean.
