Moon Duo releases the second half of its trippy Occult Architecture

Moon Duo doesn’t usually stray far from the signature psychedelic sound at the core of most of its albums. That’s certainly the case with its most recent album, Occult Architecture Vol. 2 (the follow to Vol. 1 — released earlier this year).

That said, the husband-wife team of Ripley Johnson and Sanae Yamada do produce consistently good, trippy music.

Johnson, formerly with Wooden Shjips, has been making irresistible psychedelic jams for more than a decade. I was first hooked by the Wooden Shjips single, Shrinking Moon for You, way back in 2006.

I recommend this latest release, Vol. 2, but also check out Vol. 1 to hear the full package.
