Clocking in at more than 7 minutes, Special is a mind-blowing, psychedelic slow burner that was recorded for — but did not appear — on Angel Olsen’s excellent 2016 album My Woman.
It’s also one of the songs being made available for the first time on Olsen’s upcoming release, Phases, which also includes demos and B-sides.
Phases is out November 10.
