LA musicians Ty Segall and Tim Presley (aka White Fence) throw a lot of stuff at us with the collaborators’ latest album, Joy.
Mostly, the songs sound like they were recorded between 1965 and 1969.
While some of the tracks are overly cute, there’s a lot to like about this album. Fans of Nuggets, Pink Floyd’s Relics and early versions of the Who, Kinks and Stones should appreciate this album.
And, of course, Ty and Tim’s fans will love it.
