Ten years ago, Joshua Epstein and Daniel Zott formed Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., a breezy indie pop band from Detroit. A few years ago, the two dropped the name of the race car driver, which they insist had nothing to do with Dale Jr. taking issue.
Now known as JR JR, the band is touring its new album Invocations/Conversations with a stop at Lincoln Hall Thursday.
