New Orleans trio Trampoline Team released its self-titled album last month and it’s some of the most exciting punk rock I’ve heard this year.
Chicago’s Hozac Records, the band’s label, describes Trampoline Team this way: “If you like your showers scalding, your sun blinding and your brain crushed into a fine powder and then blown into your face, then this band is definitely for you.”
Sure, there’s a lot of hyperbole in that statement, but it’s also pretty apt.
