Dan Bejar, aka Destroyer, is touring his latest album, Have We Met, another solid release from the Vancouver singer-songwriter.
Like his last several albums, Have We Met is often lush and bleak at the same time. Bejar sometimes sounds like a marriage between early ’70s Lou Reed and popular synth-heavy ’80s rock.
His lyrics are vivid and his songs are big.
Bejar plays Thalia Hall Sunday, March 1, in what is sure to be a memorable performance.
