Bent Arcana is the latest project from John Dwyer.
Oh Sees frontman Dwyer pulled together nine other musicians to form “the first interstellar transmission from five days of electrified and improvised sessions.”
The first song, the more than 10 minute track The Gate, is very jazzy, and Dwyer describes the music on his new album as “70s hard fusion” and “prog-kraut.”
He also says Brent Arcana is “the inceptive chapter in what I hope to be several releases showcasing these types of off-the-cuff musical compositions.”
The release is expected out August 21.
