It’s intriguing to hear Phil Elverum’s decision to resurrect his Microphones moniker for a new album, expected to be released in August.
Elverum plans to release Microphones in 2020 on August 7. The album, the first Microphones album in 17 years, is actually one 44-minute song.
The day before the album comes out, Elverum plans to release a lyric video slideshow on YouTube. Watch a teaser below.
