This Friday, Bandcamp is waiving its fees again so that artists on the music site can grab a bigger share of revenue.
And if indie labels also forgo their sales cut (a number of them are), that means 100 percent of the proceeds go to the musicians who are having a hard time making money during a pandemic that has shut down concerts.
Bandcamp has been doing this once a month over the past several months to help support musicians who are losing money because they can’t tour.
Also, some musicians and labels are donating portions of their sales to various causes.
