It’s hard to listen to Split Single’s new song, 95 Percent, and not think of the great Chapel Hill band Superchunk.
Split Single’s frontman Jason Narducy is an indie rock veteran who played in Superchunk as well as Bob Mould’s band and on this single, he really brings it with this rocker. It’s worth noting that Split Single drummer Jon Wurster also plays with both Superchunk and Mould.
Split Single’s new album, Amplificado, is expected to be released June 25.
