Liz Harris’ latest album under the moniker Grouper and jazz tuba player Theon Cross top my list of the best new releases in October and November.
That’s in addition to the excellent album -io from Circuit des Yeux released last month, which I highlighted here.
The Grouper release Shade is one I’m listening to constantly.
Cross, who also plays in Sons of Kemet, is really making a case for the tuba in a contemporary jazz group.
