Whitney Johnson, a Chicago experimentalist who makes music as Matchess, just released a video for a song off her upcoming album.
The video for Through the Wall is actually an excerpt of the full ambient piece, which clocks in at just under 18 minutes.
The video is a striking visualization by filmmaker Jodie Mack.
Matchess’ new album, Sonescent, is expected to be released February 25.
