After being canceled in 2020 and moved to the fall last year, Pitchfork Music Festival returns to its traditional summer schedule this Friday through Sunday at Chicago’s Union Park.
With Jeff Parker and CupcakKe kicking things off and Japanese Breakfast, Low and Mitski playing last, Saturday is my pick for the best lineup for a single day.
Other highlights Saturday include Dry Cleaning, Iceage, Lucy Dacus and the Linda Lindas.
Honestly, the whole weekend has something for everyone. This is Chicago’s best music fest. The National headlines Friday and the Roots will close the festival on Sunday.
