
I use jazz label as shorthand but, admittedly, it’s too confining to describe the eclectic roster at Chicago’s International Anthem.
The label has already released an impressive batch of albums this year, including those by the late Jaimie Branch’s Anteloper, Makaya McCraven and Alabaster DePlume.
And there’s more to come. Here are two albums I’m excited about.
