The Smile will headline the kickoff evening of the three-day Pitchfork fest this year, July 21-23.
Kendrick Lamar will be the top act at Lollapalooza August 3-6.
The Smile is Thom Yorke’s excellent music project that isn’t Radiohead.
Big Thief will be the top act Saturday at Union Park and Bon Iver will close out Pitchfork on Sunday.
The Lollapalooza schedule isn’t public yet but other headliners at Grant Park will include Billie Eilish, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Odesza, Lana Del Ray and Karol G.
