The amazing jazz trumpeter Jaimie Branch left us far too early when she died last year at age 39.
Branch started making music in Chicago but moved to New York in recent years.
Her label, Chicago’s International Anthem, is releasing Fly or Die or Die Fly or Die (world war), the album she was finishing just a month before her death in August 2022.
The album is set for an August 25 release, which is just three days after the anniversary of her death.
