Mike Reed is a drummer and revered fixture in the Chicago jazz scene as well as a great promoter of the city’s broader music ecosystem.
So it’s really exciting to announce that he’s planning an album, The Separatist Party, with some truly excellent musicians, including Ben LaMar Gay, Bitchin Bajas, Marvin Tate and others.
Reed just shared a track from the album, Floating With an Intimate Stranger.
The Separatist Party is set to be released October 27.
