Mint Mile, the project of Chicagoan Tim Midyett, is about to release Roughrider, the band’s first full-length album in almost four years.
We haven’t heard much from Midyett since the excellent Ambertron was released just as the country was shutting down in March 2020 due to COVID.
Midyett is a veteran of two incredible bands, Silkworm and Bottomless Pit, and has been releasing music as Mint Mile since 2015.
Ambertron was a runner-up for my album of the year in 2020.
Midyett recently shared Brigadier, the first single off Roughrider, followed by Empty Island. Listen to both below.
The album is expected out Feb. 23.
