Golden Days is pop bliss. It’s also a track off the debut album from Chicago’s Whitney.
Max Kakacek, formerly of Smith Westerns, and Julien Ehrlich, previously with Smith Westerns and Unknown Mortal Orchestra, make up Whitney. The album, Light Upon the Lake, was recorded by Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado. It is scheduled for release June 3.
You can catch these guys at Thalia Hall May 10. They’re also on the Friday lineup of Pitchfork fest July 15.
