Situation Chicago 2 is the second compilation album created to help raise money for the city’s great music venues, which have been closed due to the pandemic. It will be released May 21.
The first compilation, released last year, raised $35,000 for more than two dozen local venues temporarily closed over the past year, according to promoters.
This latest album, includes Jeff Parker’s cover of War’s Slippin’ Into Darkness, which was just released ahead of the full album.
